Leo Popplewell studied with Louise Hopkins at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. An experienced recitalist, Leo has performed at many British festivals both as a soloist and as part of the Mithras Piano Trio. He has played in masterclasses, including for Steven Isserlis at Wigmore Hall, and has collaborated with the Wihan, Chilingirian and Heath Quartets, and the Frith Quartet.
His studies have been generously supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust, Craxton Memorial Trust and Coro Nuovo. This concert is supported by the Countess of Munster Recital Scheme.
